end_of_innocence

so i applied for a new postion at work last week. the job title is "Quality Leader" and it's a step up from my current position as a Quality Auditor. i'll have to be dealing with customers on a day to day basis and i'll be part of the Administration department *gasps*. yeah, wow, white collar job. can't really picture it myself lol.

there's 4 people that applied for 2 postions and one of the guys had the job before the automotive industry to the shit kicking it did in the last year. but the process for hiring involved write a test and an interview. i spent two days refreshing myself on the stuff i thought i knew and brushing up on the stuff i thought might be on the test. yeeeeeeah, i picked up the test and blanked. the stuff i studied wasn't on it and they stuff that was that i do everyday i just lost. i ended up BS'ing my way through almost all of the written test :S

but i had my interview today. was kinda weird. i've never done a group interview where there's three ppl asking question and only one person being interviewed. i think i nailed the interview, and the guy that's head of the department made a couple of off the cuff comments about hiring me for the position during the interview which seemed odd. i'm going to try to not read into it too much, but i should find out tomorrow if i got one of the two positions *crosses fingers*
