okay, so here's the update on the work situtation - i'm still working. but it's going to be a week to week basis. right now i'm only based on my training in my department. we have 6 Quality Auditors, and i'm the lowest in senority of the six. so if we go down to any less than 6 crews running, i'm on temporary lay off.
wherein my big problem lies is there is guys in other deparments that have the training and more senority, but due to department cuts were bumped out of their positions. now there is talk of bringing one of those guys over and putting me on indefinate lay off. on top of that, they have a group of people (most are on that indefinate leave) that if they have to do a permanent cut i'll fall into it.
but like i said, the good news is i'm still working, for now.
in other news, i'm still looking for roommates, so if anyone is interested in moving to Milton, msg me. it's a three bedboom backsplit with a pool in the back and various other entertainment options in the house (pool table, foozeball). asking $800, but that's all inclusive. and there's a LOT of living space
