I love Sunday mornings.
We woke up late, it's a cold, cloudy day, threatening rain. I'm on the sofa, snuggled under the black fluffy thing, the floor around me is filled with gundam mech models (we went shopping yesterday at vagabond). TV has crappy cartoons in the background. The world and traffic noise is shut out. All is well.
Yesterday I got a 1/144 model, a spiked barbarian looking gundam mech. Nik got a huge 1/60 one, really articulate, very cool. I might have to walk down to the games workshop to get some paints later today. My mech needs to be darker colours with lots of battle scars.
We're talking about going to Australia in July for a few days. We'll be bringing a lot of our stuff with us back to nz including all our gundam models from storage. I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone and I wonder if my fish is still alive. It's been around 2 years since I left.
