Today is Nik and my 5th anniversary together. This day 5 years ago we spent a dreamy night together, talked for hours not able to take our eyes off eachother and ended up cuddling on our friend's bed (much to her dislike). The rest is history and the best 5 years of my life.
We had a nice arvo together today. I gave him a framed picture of us that our friend drew a few years ago (he's since passed) as his anniversary present and put flowers around the flat (I'm not too creative in the romantic present department am I?).
I'm trying on Ultra Geekdom for size tonight and going to a remote control car race. It could be real fun, it could be kinda boring. We'll find out. I'm curious to see what kind of people go to rc races.
There's been a car commercial being filmed outside my apartment all day (all day for a 30 second ad!). Pretty cool to watch from up here. It's strange tho cos they've put american props around the place such as the postboxes, news-stands and a NYC cab to make it seem the cars are driving down an american street, yet for some reason they've been driving down the left side all day.
