We are home!

And by "home" I mean we have an apartment finally... in Vegas!
It's so nice to be out of motels & casinos. Moving around everyday day or two gets really tiring. We have a kitchen now too of course, so I can get back into cooking real meals & stop eating all this junkfood. Yay! And a fast internet connection, clean sheets & all the comforts of home.

It's hard to believe we've been in the US over a month now. Time has gone so fast, but we've seen so much it's really felt like time well spent. Yesterday, after moving in, we walked around the vegas strip to explore our neighbourhood (I've gotta get into the habit of dropping those english Us now we're here). It's so crazy to walk around here & think "this is home". It just doesn't register yet. I'm gonna feel like a tourist for a while.

Next step is to get some Nevada ID so we can get local discounts everywhere (we live right near a monorail station, so that will get used a fair bit) & I need to get a job. If anyone has any leads out there let me know.
