Wow. I am updating and doing something. I amaze myself.

I have not been back to Uni since I started back for the year because I'm shit and lazy. I do plan on turning up for the new semester though.

Anyway, I had an e-mail from my ex/good friend James, to tell me about a one off club night he's doing here in Swansea to raise money for people who have suffered as a result of the recent tsunami (see, he's a far better person than I'll ever be).

So here's the jist of it (copied and pasted from the e-mail):

"Right, it's early days yet so we've not got all the details confirmed so expect more information in the next few weeks.

In order to raise money for a good cause and celebrate the work of the late great John Peel in celebrating musical diversity we present the most ambitious and most unorthodox rock, punk & alternative DJ night ever to take place so far this year.

'Far Too Many DJs' sees a clash of alternative djs ranging from seasoned pros to total novices, each playing a set of only 30 minutes each for the ultimate in high-pressure rock dj tomfoolery. The number of DJs featured will be approx. 10-12 (we haven't finished adding people yet!) playing everything from punk to jazz, stoner to Welsh-language rock.

The event has been booked for Monday March 7th in the Monkey Cafe, entry will most likely be 2.

All profits will go to the DEC fund.

Anyone interested in providing help, publicity or sponsorship for the event please email us at foz@striprock.co.uk cheers. "

So yeah, get in contact with him if you're interested in helping/being a good soul/feel like having a night out.

In addition, my whole life is built on the foundation of thin ice.
