For the first time in about 10 years I felt homesick today.
It was good to see mum and dad again after having not seen them in so long, they had loads of updates on everyone in the family and how my niece is coming along. Also noticed a drastic difference in my dad - the once fitness mad dad is now reduced to walking very slowly and can't stay on his feet for longer than 20 minutes without being in pain. His MS seems to have gotten a lot worse since I last saw him. Really quite upsetting to see him like that.
I think I miss just being able to speak how I like (in Doric) too and having people understand me instead of being met with confused looks.
Anyway, other than that it was good to see them again and I had a laugh with them. I've also changed my name on my SG hopeful profile to 'Emmy', so it's not too similar to SG Em.
For once I am planning ahead!

I'm sorry to hear about you Dad, but unfortunately I can empathise with you in that respect. I remember my Dad running around with us around 10 yrs ago, but now he can hardly walk due to his Rheumatoid arthritis.
Anyway 'nough of all that. Out of interest, how many sexy ladies are there on your photography course? I might just have to make this trip down to Swansea
