While you may be (no really, you should be) calling and howling your descent into the voicemails of your local representatives, you should ABSOLUTELY be finding the numbers for the directors of your local hospitals that are refusing to care for trans folk and leaving them just the fucking worst sorts of derogatory statements on how bad they are at their god damned jobs.
Executive orders are meaningless, almost entirely non-legally binding statements, made by the executive branch with increasing regularity while our Congress spends all their time with their thumbs planted up their collective asses.
Orange Jesus can have his tireless team of lickspittles writing nearly incohesive prose in love with his twin ideals of hatred and bigotry like so many monkeys trying to hammer out Shakespeare and it doesn't mean shit. These hospitals and state houses are either 1. going along with it because they agree with his lies and his bigoted horseshit, or 2. they are dumb as fuck and can't recognize the difference between the law and the poorly worded and spelled collection of some spray tanned assholes internet rants.
We actually do have the power to change this and stop it, but that requires a sort of collectivization I am afraid has totally vanished from us as a people. Someone please prove me wrong, soon.
