I walked into my local bodega, past an entire block of living zombies sucking sickness through plastic straws right off the already blackened, rolled up foil they found on the sidewalk, to find the owner trying his best to beat a man with a stick for breaking a credit card register machine. I can't afford to move away from here and I can't hope to vote myself out of this shit. We're sitting here in the heat dome watching society collapse and there isn't sweet fuck all to be done about it kids, this is us.
