Been quiet round here. Just me in the house for a week, while everyone else has gone back to work, and i've got no job.
Have been thinking alot about coming home, and seeing friends, especially one whose been away for a long time. Want to start making posters for the gig, and even....dum dum duuuuum WORKING! wow. It'll be my first ever 9 - 5 wage slave deal. Hospital receptionist, no less. Courtesy at all times, the patient is always right...It'll be nice to be making some money back though. Can start planning my next excursion. To sweden, back to prague, to San Francisco, to NYC, to vietnam, cambodia and Thailand. Or india. Then the circumnavigation of S. America. Any of them will do. Or anywhere else for that matter. Was thinking last night, i'm gonna make less than i'd calculated cos i'd forgotten about fucking tax. I'm too young to be taxed! Surely they don't want my money, not myyyy money...hmph.
Today, i wrote out a bunch of indian recipes from this nice book of my stepmum's. Gonna get into that when i get home for sure. I'm gonna be the best student cook that ever lived, except for maybe those students of cookery. They'll be better than i am, but that's only cos they spend all their days doing it. Then and only then, that and only that could justify their superiority in the culinary art. This is my goal.
Also carried on reading catch 22. It's great, i've read almost half of it in about 3 days when it took me almost 3 months to read about 3/4 of it a couple of years ago. Read whilst sunbathing. It was so hot i was sweating profusely just from lying there...cool though, i watched my belly button fill up with the sweat that ran down until it overflowed. Chilled times, but as i say, getting a little tedious. I need more stimulation than this. Home soon, and then maybe going to a mate's camping/band-watching minifest thing here:

my lip has healed nicely. I think it must be the salt water.
