I went on a ridealong with an ambulance today.

Funny that I only liked reading hard science when I was little, but now my taste is entirely towards fantasy, religion, and the occult.
I saw Syriana.
It was, simply, a fantastic movie.
It is also utterly depressing.
I also read an essay in Harper's about Jefferson's bible and the book of Thomas. There's a brief mention of the difference between Jefferson's view for the way we should live and the direction the country should go, and the view held by Hamilton.
I hate that Hamilton's viewpoint won out.
It was, simply, a fantastic movie.
It is also utterly depressing.
