Did you know books for college are expensive? I didn't until today.. My history book costs 55 dollars. For one book! What the fuck is in the book a recipe for gold or something.. 55 dollars is a little too steap a price for a book that I will sell back at very much less than that at the end of the semester.. Damn!
I am going to wait until classes start before I go out and buy 7 books.. A buddy of mine said that I don't really need the books for all the classes. Most of the classes rely on notes.
Things I am happy about: I just watched a great episode of SG-1 and Farscape tonite.
Something I am looking forward to: Tomorrow I am going home to get my hair cut by the wonderful Julie, by beautician.
Something that I am concerned about: I have heard talk of Dia leaving or that she is going to quit posting, in response to this I can safely say.. If Dia goes, I go along with her..

It tends you get the best deals that way. Way better than used book prices even. And this way, a fellow broke student gets the much needed money; not the bookstore.
At the beginning of next semester, you sell your books for slightly less than you paid. It all works out and everyone is happy
or so the story goes
