If at some point in the last 24 hours, if you heard a blood-curdling war cry emanating from the American Southwest, that was the sound of me screaming at my computer. To be more exact, I was screaming at the spyware and viruses that had infected my computer and started fucking with my Internet Explorer. I spent much of Saturday morning running anti-viral program after program, scanning the hell out of my system. Some of my more tech-savvy friends have given me some pointers to remedy the problem, so hopefully my computer will be back to something approaching normal in the next couple of days.
I'd write more, going off on one of my trademark tangents, were it not for the fact that I'm still cranky as hell from this stupid virus. Goddamn hackers and their cookie monster ways...

I bet a dozen people have already said this, but you should really stop using Internet Explorer. Have you given Firefox or Opera a try? It won't help with what's already on your computer, but it's at least a little bit of protection against new stuff.
