I just got back from a week in Detroit training for a job that I've held for almost a year...I didn't learn much more about my job that I didn't know already.
I have my first doctor's appointment on Friday and I'm taking the hubby. That's kind of a funny thing to have a gyne appointment with your significant other in the room. Obviously he is very familiar with all my parts... The exam is uncomfortable for me, I'm sure it will be weird for him too. I told him to get ready to see me all hanging out wearing an awful paper gown. YUCK!
When this baby is born we will NOT have a crowd in the delivery room...mark my words! Doctor - yes; Husband - yes; Various nurses - yes; Anesthesiologist - Hell yes; Mom - maybe; Mother in law - maybe; Dad & Dad in law - NOPE; Various family members - in the waiting room with the coffee.
They can come in when I am safely under the covers and not exposed to the world!
