My Germans have advanced (and yes, the Tiwaz is very pleased with this) to the next round of the UEFA EURO 2008. For those of you that are unfamiliar, it's basically the European International Championship (meaning the teams are countries rather than clubs). The winner automatically gets a bid to the FIFA World Cup 2010. For some of these teams, that's not a huge factor, because Europe gets by far the highest representation (around 12), because they have the most amount of teams. Anyway, it's a big deal, and I'm hoping my Germans do well even though they have to play Portugal and Cristiano "the greatest futballer in the WORLD!!!!" Ronaldo (I'm kinda conflicted, I love watching Portugal play, just don't take out my Germans).
Also, God Bless Podolski (he has fthree gols for the Mighty Germans)**.
