It feels like spring here even though it was only 1 degree when I got up this morning. Something about the quality of the light. I recently took out almost all of my piercings, the only ones I have left are my belly button, nose, and my plugs. It feels really good, actually, I don't miss them at all.
I got a bow that is too big for me, so everyday I've been struggling to pull it. Hopefully with the strength training I'm doing with kettlebells and some more practice I'll be able to pull back the string someday. I'd like to get a bow that actually fits someday as well, but free was just too good a price to pass up.
We're still looking for land up here, which would mean my man selling the house we're living in and building a new house this spring and summer. We'd live in the yurt in the meantime, with the cat and all. I hope that we can find some land that is right soon, so we have a snug house by next winter.
My work situation is interesting, I'm going to start doing work for the herb company I used to work for, traveling across the country doing demos, and also doing local demos and trainings in the mountains. It will mean a lot more money for a lot less days of work, hopefully giving me plenty of time to get everything on the land going. Now to find the land...

That sounds like a wonderful plan!! I am hoping that we can get down there to visit sometime this summer. I'm going through withdrawls from that place.
