Well, back to the daily grind. I had a ridiculous amount of time off due to the blizzard plus my work being closed until today. I really wish I was independently rich sometimes...then I could just sit on my ass all the time. Our trip to St. Louis was fun. We got to see lots of ankiel66's friends and hang out with his bro and his bro's g-friend. We got back into town about 1am last Friday morning. We missed the closure of I-70 by less than 2 hours.
Didn't really do anything particularly exciting on New Year's Eve. We went down to Littleton during the day to exchange presents with my family. On the drive home some asshole driving a huge SUV was trying to due a U-turn going the wrong way onto the C-470 off-ramp. We were exiting C-470 onto 6th Ave at about 50mph, when we came over a rise and there is this SUV, blocking 2.5 lanes of traffic. Thank god for ankiel66's good driving. He had to slam on the brakes and swerve to narrowly avoid hitting this retard. The other cars also managed to swerve without hitting anything. I am grateful to be alive. We spent the rest of the night recovering.
