Things are OK.
I got a new job working for TiVo. The lady who hired me said I was good for this job because I have 'TiVo-tude'. Whatever that means. I get a TiVo at my house too, and I get to play with TiVo all day at work. I am excited. I will be a corporate media whore in no time at all. But at least I wont miss Sex and the City reruns.
I know good people. I hang out with good people. And just because they are happy shouldnt make me unhappy. Or the fact that I am unhappy shouldnt make me less glad for their happiness. Or something. Bah. My lonliness is not their problem.
Molonel and I are getting good at drunk dialing each other, or at least drunk talking to each other. If the job permits Im running away for a weekend to go visit the Portland and party somewhere other than NM. It would be either a really good idea or a really bad idea, Im not sure which. It would be tons of fun regardless.
My family is avoiding me. I started packing boxes and expressing interest in actually moving home, and they have since stopped answering their phones or returning my calls and emails. Hmm. I wonder if its a sign? No one wants me

Yes, the drunk dialing has been fun, although I was far too sober last night. I got way too far into dancing, and didn't end up calling back. That's another story, though.
But yes, coming up to P-town would be tons of fun regardless. I'm going to steal that phrase.
I'm sorry to hear that about your family. That's kind of odd, especially since from everything you've said, you and your family are rather close.
