i was completely against reading the books or seeing the movies until last may when finals in cali were around and i decided that would be a good time to start reading the books. yea... it was ... they were smashing. i'm excited to bits for the book in july. there has been a lot posted around about the new movie that they're trying to make it into an hour and a half. which is shorter than the last three and it would cut out huge chucks of the book since it's so huge. the goblet of fire and the order of the phoenix should both be two movies each there's just too much to cover. yea.

it used to be my dirty secret to like harry potter, and now it's sort of like my buffy shame, i should feel ashamed for the imense amount of time, money and resources that are spent fueling my obsession but i'm not.

i do not take walks in the early hours with just any boy.. i take them with my beloved chub, whom is not the type of boy you're referring to. i love to write in the wee hours... and read too many harry potter books. they are lovely and i'm terribly excited for the new one that comes out in july.

i'm excited about the coming school year, not this term, but the fall because that means i'm going to be back in a real school again. which is happy in itself.

we just had our first big snowfall... it's nice to see the white world of snowy land. i like your pictures.


as for being bought by material things, just read my last xanga entry. it's all about that. i'm very happy and materialistic. i'm just fine with that too.
