There are so many songs I could have chosen, but I’ve decided on Jee Veerey by Bloodywood because it has literally saved lives. Just read the comments 😮 the title means ‘live, brave one’ and it’s all about surviving our darkest moments. Because in them ‘iron is forged’. It’s an unforgettable track, both for its message and for that fact that it’s Indian folk infused with metal. They are such legends. When you click on it, don’t be alarmed when it says 8mins. About 4 mins of that is them explaining that they had paid upfront for therapy sessions for anyone who needed one, and they gave links for people to access them. They have many other cool songs and they all address social issues while being metal as fuck and rooted in their unique Indian sound. Enjoy. It’s got me through some bad days.
