Christ, what a week. My brain is a bit shot... not sure why, but it's been impeding my ability to get anothing substantial done.

I went to see the Walkmen last night -- fucking spectacular. They were even better live. Weird venue, though... a dinner theater behind the Orange Curtain.

Caught City of Lost Children on Saturday and fell in love with the film all over again. Itsalivemedia is creeped out by Ron Perlman... says he reminds him of Andre the Giant. I, for one, like the guy. He's more of an Andre the Giant/Tom Waits gene-splicing job.

And, in just 13 days I will away to sunny Iowa for a breif respite. Can't wait.
