Alright... news: I just moved into the new office. Not too shabby. I kind of feel like the red-headed step-child in the eyes of the more notable firms and employees around here, but so be it. The building is fucking rad.
I am (finally) after two years here in LA moving into my own digs in a really great apartment a few blocks down the street in K-town. Very excited at the possibility of being alone -- I can look forward to more writing, drawing, reading and peace of mind.
Read a fantastic book on Saturday. If you have not yet read this book, I order you to pick it up: Everything Is Illuminated. Hussle. I'm serious. The prose is captivating. I wept openly in front of strangers twice.
FYI: the best bar in LA is closing on Sunday. Ain't nothin' like the elderly, cheap drinks, and a smell akin to cigarette smoke, home cooked food and drug store perfume. It will be missed.

HOLY SHIT! Go to the nearest swingin' 7-11 near you and pick up a Violet Crumble. Quite possibly the most delicious candy you will every eat. Sho' nuff.

You were missed at Fais Do Do last night. GREAT venue, shitty sound. It's a converted bank and looks like a building you see somewhere else besides LA. We bulldoze these things. Kennedy was fun too.
Then I went for a drink at the watering hole closest to me...a bar I only show very few as it is so strange, odd, fun, weird and makes no sense at all. One day.....
