Last night was Akon. It was so much fun! A little hectic though. We were supposed to start performing at 11pm in Video room 2. However, this room could only seat 250 or so, and, according to the event staff, we had more than 2 times that waiting in line. We were bummed that we would have to turn people away, but the staff said we couldn't switch rooms. After tech had set up all their shit and several actors had set props, the staff told us we were moving to the Main Video room. It was nice to have more stage and audience space, but everyone was like wtf because so much had already been set up, plus we ended up starting after midnight. The show was amazing, though, and everyone seemed to have a great time. I hope we get a theater soon.

Today I had to wake up early for a temp assignment. I was dead tired when I rolled out of bed on 4 hours of sleep. My job was to help with a food demo at some Krogers. I got there, set up the signs, and then stood around while the other demo people made food. I was working with an awesome married couple. They started off being very friendly and helpful to me, and by the end of the day they were giving me random stolen fruit and telling me to go sit around and take a break. We ended up leaving an hour earlier than planned too. They were the nicest people ever. I hope tomorrow goes well (I will be working with different people who will probably not be anywhere near as awesome).
