Tolkien is partying in his grave right now. I felt so close to every nerd out there last night when LOTR won EVERYTHING...well, almost. But yeah, go Frodo
I saw Monster and though I didn't watch any of the other performances, I think Charlize deserved her Oscar. Her transformation was amazing, even if they hadn't made her ugly I would have forgotten she was playing the character. I don't think anyone else could have played a serial-killing hooker like she did, especially a very masculine one.
Saturday night I saw the Passion of the Christ, which should more appropriately be called the Slaughtering of the Christ. I don't want to get into it cuz i don't want to start thinking about it again...what they did to people back then was disgusting. I think I cried for the entire last hour, and I felt sick afterward. I almost wanted to go to church. If you have kids DO NOT bring them. I wanted to punch the stupid mom next to me who was trying to comfort her crying 4-year old by saying "It's ok, this is what he did for us. You should be thankful." Uh, if u want her to stop crying, fucking leave the theatre. Retard.
I think I'm actually going to vote this year. If there is any way I can keep Bush and his anti-gayism out of office, i will.
My poor Pebbles had surgery! (That's my dog.) She had this big cyst underneath her eye that kept getting bigger, so we had it removed. Thankfully it wasn't cancerous, but my poor baby could barely walk afterward. She was on so much medication that she was wobbling around like a drunk dog, flopping on the floor and running into walls. I think she might have been seeing things, or at least sensing things differently, because she wouldn't sit down after we got her home. She would just stumble up to random objects and stare as if she had never seen them before. She kept walking back and forth through the house, just looking around. It was so funny and sad. Now we just have to keep her from scratching it open. She has a bunch of stitches and a bald patch from where they shaved her face. Poor funny little doggy. At least it's warm enough for us to go on walks again
Thats all for now.

I see the Passion this Friday, right after lunch... hmm. Now that i think about it, that might not be a good idea.
