MAN OH MAN does ani difranco kick ass. I've been feeling sort of out of myself lately, like a different mind was placed in my head. But listening to her strong poetic lyrics and the way she pronounces her individuality in every song which is so different from the last, it kinda brings me back. Actually, it really brings me back. I connect so well w/ her songs that it helps me to connect w/ myself. If I ever see her walking down the street I will not be able to stop myself from jumping and wrapping my legs and arms around her in a big squishy kiss. Mmmmm
Anyway, I want to thank everyone for their support...it's so awesome when people you haven't even met are kind and giving enough to offer words of hope to a stranger. Hearing everyone elses opinions helped me put things into a healthy perspective. Distance is a hard thing to adjust to, but you all have really helped.
I just went on an adventure w/ my doggy! It was so much fun...I live on a very busy street but I have a pretty big backyard and right behing it runs a creek, and across that is a railroad. Just imagine what an imaginative young girl and her plucky little dog can get into. Fun stuff.
Heeheehee, I just found a reeeeally old pic of my brother and I. I must have been about 3...and I'm making a really funny face where I look like a smiley squished pumpkin
I guess you'd have to see it to understand. OH, and I forgot to mention that I don't work this week cuz my bosses grandma died. I should probably explain that my bosses are Korean...so yeah, he took a flight back home and is gonna be there for a week. Ok, I may as well explain all of this...I work at a Chinese resteraunt, owned by koreans, and my bosses are husband and wife and they have an awesome little girl named Meso. (They're names are Kyung-so and So-young Lee.) Anyway, Kyung-so, the husband, is our cook, and since he's in Korea now we can't possibly be open if there is no one to cook. The other 2 stayed home....but yeah, so that's the sitch. I guess that didn't really need to be elaborated so much, but oh well! So yeah, I have the week off. Yay! I just hope he's not all sad when he gets back.
Poor guy...can't even see his grandma b4 she dies. Hmm...um..yeah, I don't know how to properly change the subject. So I'm just gonna go. Bye everyone!
