I haven't been vegan for long but I was a vegetarian for a year and I did it for the wrong reasons I guess but now that I am one I love it. I feel healthier.
I hardly talk to my family members from my dads side because they're all pathetic but when I do, I get shit for my piercings, tattoos, lifestyle, eating habits, and the fact that I hate my curly hair (that I got from my dad).
Well today I see on facebook that my aunt is going vegetarian and is hoping to vegan in the near future, and I'm so happy that she's doing it so that way she gets shit for it and she hears the same crap I did.
I think the main stuff I heard was "you want to be a vegetarian? hahahha thats gonna be impossible considering you're mexican"
I'm just ranting now lol but its ok cuz I doubt people even read my blogs?
