The other day, I was picking blobs of cat hair off of a black cloth covered kitty beanbag/pillowish thing on a dresser in front of my bedroom window. There is a closet right next to it that is under some stairs, so with the dresser mostly blocking it, I really just use it for storage of things I rarely use and old clothes for working in the yard. I felt something crusty on the beanbag and realized that someone had thrown up. Casper lays in the spot the most and has a weak esophageal sphincter, so he tends to spray when he vomits. It was a good six or eight inches across the beanbag and over the edge of the dresser with a dried blob (it looked more like a piece of fruit roll had been stretched and dried) across the kitty carrier I had on the floor. Then I noticed that there were spots of dried kitty puke on several of the shirts in the closet, as well as where it had run down the wall. So, it apparently came out in a nice spray about 15 inches wide or he was waving his head around while he did it. Thankfully, it was all dry, but gah.
