Heavy Southern air in my lungs.
There were tears of happiness when I walked outside of the airport and felt the flat palm of the humidity god pressing down on me for the first time in a long little while.
I hated it only a short moment later.

When I talk about how much I love NC people that don't know me like to start a lecture about I'll never know how amazing the world is until I leave my state and get out and see it all.
Envy me because I love my homeland more than any other place there is. I've been to the world and my heart isn't in it. That was the most important thing I've learned about myself EVER. That I am where I need to be and so being I have a solid foundation. I am forever tied to this place and I will never feel alive anywhere else.


In this house things move and the cats stare and puff up at empty air.
I like that about it.

My roommate has a baby in 9 days. My boyfriend is home in 4. My best friends come within a few. The progression of time brings many wonderful things.
