I strongly recommend Kiev in May/June. Weather is perfect. The city is beautiful. No visa needed. Maybe a side trip to Odessa... Do it.

Depending where you want to go and what you want to see, there are a lot of options. Castles, country side and farms, monuments and cities, night life ... you have a considerable amount of options.
