Hi, SGLand!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe♥
Today I wanna share with you since when I want to be a Suicide Girl and how I found out about the site
I would love to know how you did. ♥
It was around 2005 and i was 14/15 years...
EMO was at its highest levels here in Brazil. Me and my friends would spent hours browsing for ''inked girls", "tattoo girls" and stuff like that on GOOGLE IMAGES (lmao). Until one day, a friend of mine stumbled at SUICIDEGIRLS.COM.
We went crazy with all that freaky girls, and awesome members we could find in here. But, since we were underage, we couldn't register as members neither models :P
Me and some friends became obsessed with SG, and we'd look up for all ladies on myspace.
Imagine that: a bunch of girls from a small town, where there were only 1 tattoo artist and 1 bodypiercer (the studio where i got my first tattoo and my 1st piercing later)
Then we found about about a brazilian girl, and she was so freaky and gorgeous, with piercing, tattoos and a super different haircut @kasha
We'd spent hours wondering how would be if we could shoot a set for SG. If we'd do it outdoors, on the beach or a house. If this house would be retro style or super modern. What tattoos we would get, what hairstyle and color.
Just fantasizing everything we could think of.
I got a camera for my 15th birthday (a cyber shot haha) and shot many friends of mine at sleepovers, all SFW since we were just kids. I remember to burn a CD with all media for them hahaha good old times.
Back then i'd never thought i'd REALLY be here one day, sharing this amazing community and making awesome friends.
Then, looking at front page got old and i began to check it less frequently.
Thats when, years later, i saw @radeo .
She was a HUGE crush of mine. I even dyed my hair like hers and tried same poses. Found her on Instagram, but she was just so mysterious, so Greta Garbo :P
Finally, by the end of last year, @haub invited me to be a hopeful Suicide Girl.
Since then she's been my recruiter and leading me through this path. Wich i have to say, its been wonderful. There's so much love in here. Im not afraid to share my photos, my thoughts or my story ♥
Thanks, @missy and @sean for this. You have inspired many young girls, of small towns, all around the world, who would never dream that there were no limits for our creativity.
January of this year, @haub shot this amazing set that's on member review already
Dont forget to check NOW I'M READY - fun, playful and full of attitude.
Give me your love and let me know what you think
