Hey, SGLand!
How is everybody doing?
Have you ever felt like you don't really know where you live?
Today I explore one of the most popular parks in Porto Alegre, Parque Farroupilha. Where people take walks with their dogs or family (or by themselves perhaps), smoke some weed and even gather for picnics.
A place where i've lived near by before but never payed much attention.
Some spots really inspired me, llike this lake on 1st picture.
There were some ducks and gooses, but i couldn't take photos of them because of the sunlight.
This fountain have been out of order for ages. This really surprised me in many ways. The rainbow looks so adorable.
We have a kind of arc de triomphe. Build in the 50s in honor of all Pracinhas (brazilian soldier's nickname) that fought along side the Allies on World War Two. Very moving, if know a little bit about WW2 history you can feel a huge energy.
A big number of places where you can practice yoga, slackline and even skate. This water mirror is a perfect spot for meditations. It was biult in 1939.
There's also a Carnival Park with a small ferris wheel, and a Mini Zoo (wich i'm totally against)
See you soon, SGLand!!
