oh yeah, and i went to look at some stuff on the website about the 2007 trip to Ireland (actually, it's ONLY Ireland. I thought it was Scotland too!! boooo!) and there was an "Adult Supplement" charge of $340. So I emailed the teacher and asked her what the heck that is. Apparently, if you're over 24 at the time of the trip, you have to pay extra cause they put you in a room with only one other person instead of 4-5 people in a room! I was like, 'what the fuck?!'

i don't care if there's 4-5 people in a room. we're there to fucking SLEEP. we're going to be out the whole day anyway. i'd much rather have $340 spending money. i emailed EF Tours and asked them why something like that isn't OPTIONAL. I said "It seems unreasonable to charge me for a 'perk' I did not ask for." - I hope my teacher doesn't get embarassed because I sent that email. It's not like it fucking matters to her, she's the tour leader, she fucking goes for FREE. I am so broke (esp now after today's vet visit!!) and $340 is no fucking pocket change. that's the most stupid thing i've ever heard. Oh here, you can have this ... but it's gonna cost you hundreds of dollars. idiots. so there are going to be people there doing the same shit as me, but i have to pay $340 more than them because I was born 2 years earlier than they were. I'm so pissed off about it. I can't even imagine how much money they're making off of people.
