HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!
yaaawn...tired. my boss saw how backed up i was at work (uh, hee hee ... woops?
) and said i can stay late or come in early tomorrow if i wanted to. sooo.. today i worked 8-4:45, left to let paige out and bring bo his steel toes which he left at home, then went back from 5:45-9. Ugh. Bo is working 3pm - appx 4am so it's not like we were doing anything anyway. We sort of celebrated it yesterday. He took me to my FAVORITE pizza place (Palace Pizza - they're all from Italy, in the back room you can hear them yelling at each other in Italian, sooo funny!) - then we saw Hoodwinked. That was so nice he sat through that with me. It's like PG and for kids (a cartoon) but it was so cute. The wolf and squirrel were my absolute favorite. so witty and sarcastic and funny they were (<-- talking sorta like Yoda!).
weeeee... today bo brought me fLoWeRs but they were BEAAAUTIFUL!
they were NOT red roses, EVERYONE gets red roses on Valentine's Day. They were a mixed bouquet with a lot of purple and blue and a couple of white and pink thrown in there ... but mostly purple and blue. SO pretty. He got me the third volume of FAMILY GUY (he said he was like | | <--- that close to getting me the DVD set of the show House, which is AWESOME too...) and he brought me some guava pastries. MMMmmm MMmmm!! I LOVE those things, I swear I can eat like 5 in a row! I took 3 different pictures of the flowers on my desk so I'll post them once they're developed.
Man, I have sooo much work to do still. Basically what I do is order entry (that's a VERY basic description, it's a lot more involved than that) - but anyway, there are 7 of us placing orders for like 870 supermarkets. They call/email us when they need like forms/books/stickers and stuff. Well, as of today I had like ... 140 email orders that I haven't even read yet and about 70-80 printed out emails on my desk still to do!! plus, we had a 2 hour training meeting today and we also take phone calls throughout the day. Unfortunately, in my area I've been there the longest so I'm like the "go-to-guy(gal)" for the other 6 people in my area. So on top of allll the stuff I have on my own, I'm constantly answering their questions and helping them fix mistakes (or PREVENT mistakes!).
Tonight I got my emails down to about 97 and I have maybe like 20ish printed emails left. I get sooooo much more done when no one is there and the phone isn't ringing.

Still watching the olympics. Bode Miller was supposed to be like the mack daddy of skiing but he just got disqualified for something ... ? He has 3 more events to compete in I think. Hopefully he can live up to all the hype.
hmmm, what else? oh, i went out on a limb and wore WHITE and PINK today! ugh! so girly. I'm REALLY not girly. Ha! My friend Juan's like, "you look so different in pink it's weird! I mean, you look nice, I just can't get used to it..." hhahaa, I think he thought i might get offended or something.
well kiddies, i'm off. i'm gonna browse around for a little bit then go to bed bed bed. oh yeah man, that mattress is gonna feel GOOD tonight! sssleeeeepy...
