wow, i feel like i haven't updated in forever ... and it's only been like a week or two. i'm such a junkie. well, we decided to give the kids back to their mom (who is now staying at a domestic violence shelter). I was like, "Of course! If she says her boyfriend hit her, she gets sympathy AND a place to stay!" That might sound mean but you don't know my sister. She is one manipulitive biotch. I made a bid on a trailer yesterday. It's nice, cheaper than most we've looked at, in a good location...and I swear there was a sign from God for me to get this one. Let me 'splain ... darn, maybe i should read past entriesd to see if this is gonna be a dupla-story (just made that up) - anyhoo, i had to write down the address and phone number, but i had nothing to lean my papaer against so I walked over to the wooden bannister thing from the deck. Well as I'm writing I look over and not TWO inches from my paper it says "C+K"!!! That's my initials and that's what almost everyone calls me at work, CK. Out of all the letter combinations in our alphabet, it's my initials. Does anyone else think tht's strange, or am I being a tard? Regardless, i'm meeting with the mortgage broker tonight who's gonna help me with the contract (which will be faxed over today if our bid was accepted). It's a pain in the ass, let me tell you! Sooooo much to do when buying a house, none of which tasks are cheap! (that sentence is worded wrong, i can feel it!) We are so broke. oy. Well, i have to wake the kidz up to get ready for school. oh, one more thinig about the shelter, my sister said a 60-something year old lady came in the other day whose husband had beat the SHIT out of her! My sis said her face was all bruised up and all the kids already at the shelter were afraid to go by her. I felt so bad. Some people just hav it rough, and my piece of xrap sister is fucking using tht place as a vacation resort. That's ok, cause she'll get hers. When someone DOES beat the shit out of her, either no one will believe her (in my family) or no one will care. Man, that makes us sound like horrible people. If you could only see all the shit she has put her kids through. It's fucking rididulous. And what's worse, with everything the Dept of Children Services presented to the judge, he said it wasn't reason enough to remove them from her custody. Unbelievable. I was like, what do they need, physical abuse?! I was pissed let me tell you.

Anyway, i'll probably be freezing my acct for a few months to save some money (aside from having a table at the flea market at 5am this weekend) I'm trying to save as much as I can for the house down payment. So, keep posting everybody so I have lots of stuf to read once we're in da new place.
