The troubles in Paris have been in the outter suburbss. In the city, where most of the cool stuff is, it will probably be ok. My last trip to Europe included a few days in Paris. It was cold, rainy and I had some trouble finding things to do because I couldn't find any sort of what's happening guide in English. II'm sure I would have had a better chance od finding things If I'd been staying at a real hotel. The little one star in Montmart where I stayed, no one spoke English. Oh well... I'd go , if I were you. It's good to get out of Florida.

i changed it to london. hahaha - when i went to paris in june.. we had this plan to go to McDonalds for lunch cause we wanted something fast, we only had like a day and a half there... we figured we'd go to a real french place for dinner instead... so our tour guide asked this guy outside one of the restaurants where was there a McDonalds. The guy was such an dick, he gave him SUCH an attitude and Sacha was arguing with the guy and finally walked away and said "This guy is an asshole". The guy said he wouldn't even know where one was cause basically it was really beneath him and Sacha explained it was for us for a quick lunch and the guy was saying how cheap and like, lowly it was. We found it shortly after and i enjoyed my FRENCH fries. hahaha.

Freaked out about the whole London thing. We just got back from Europe June 16th. Our London hotel was right near the King's Cross station - we took that subway all the time for like 4 days straight. People are so fucking stupid.
