another good day...that's two in a row and I am starting to feel more like myself every day...and I realized that I don't have to go to work on Monday because its President's Day and we don't have school!!! whoooohoooooo!!!! Another day to sleep in and perhaps I can get my studio together and paint for once. And if I can hold on for another month and a half I can go home for spring break. Even though we don't get paid for the breaks we have as teachers....at least they are breaks and I sure can use one. Then I will be having some yummy Tomato Basil soup from French Meadow, a cup of steaming coffee from Bob's, and hopefully some jazz at Jazzmines with my favorite Minnesota friend...and I can see my parents who I miss a great deal.

One of my girls today told me that her parents might kick her out...she's only 16!!! Right now its only talk...but I feel awful and want to take in all of kiddies who need help but I can't do that. It makes me realize how lucky I am to have such a wonderful supportive family...and how much I miss them since they are all so far away. And I probably wont be able to see my sister until the end of May when she graduates from grad school...that's so long ..... but then I will get a nice trip to New York -- my sister, art, and shopping .... perfect!
