aka blog homework : what are your travel pro tips 🤔

Well let me be frank with you, I LIVE FOR ADVENTURE, HERE AND NOW (as my wrist tattoo says) Ive done so many random road trips, plan trips and mini day trips.

Example of the trips I've been on int he last two years.

ROAD TRIPS:

-Nova Scotia x2

(Looped over to P.E.I. Before leaving)

-Tadoussac x2

(Whale watching 🐳)

-Quebec city x3

(Various reasons)

-Blue mountain Ontario x1

(Camping alogside the sounds of coyotes)

-Gaspe x1

(AND NEVER AGAIN 😤)

Plane trips ✈️:

-Las vegas

-Maimi

-Vancouver BC

MY NUMBER ONE) Eat, have food before leaving, bring food with you "just encase" know where you need to stop. As a vegan its hard to find vegan friendly options at truck stops you know? I always have on hand a mini cooler with hummus, pre cut veggies, cut fruit🍉 And any other easy snack options.

#2) 💦WATER 💦, trips can be long and tedious especially road trips but we need to stay hydrated, prevent wrinkles, still get in that daily 2 liters. If you're feeling a tad out of focus or a small head ache skip the caffeine for water!

#3) have a destination, dont always need a plan but it is recommended to have a place booked to sleep. Ive been on trips 100% winged and loved it and everything went GLORIOUS and Ive been on trips where I've had to sleep in a car because oddly even tho not a high season all the hotels were booked.

#4) music tones and tones a CDs or music pre downloaded to listen too. Reasons why CD or pre download- is to avoid charges on your phone bill & you may need your phone as a gps so CDs are a great option

#5) traveling with pets means 10x more stops. The first time i went to Nova Scotia (about 15hr drive) no plan just winged it. second time had a plan, a place that accepted huskies to stay, took about 20 hours with many many doggo stops for play & their business. (I however would not feed them until you arrive at destination some may get motion sick in your car)

#6) Take pictures, many to capture your memories & to be able to look back and reminisce.

#7) explore the local nature or sights. On almost every trip I've tried something new or have explored thier nature. Such as Stanley park in BC, or Peggys Cove & Cape Breton in Nove scotia. Whale watching (I seen belugas). Going winter camping in a Yurt. Hiking. Lots and lots of hiking.

#8) pack according to weather, so simple yet so overlooked. Bring extras & at least 2 pairs of shoes/boots.

#9) have the time of your life, you only live once. Live life to the fullest and enjoy yourself, do you boo 😉

Enjoy some candids from previous trips.
