Thanks to everyone for the congrats on my upcoming graduation. I'm so excited!
On Monday, there was a screening event held at the Independence Visitor's Center in Old City where all the animation graduates could show off their reels to family and friends. Before the screening, we had a meet-and-greet with employers, where we set up laptops with our reels on them and put out our flatbooks and reels to be looked at...and awesomely, an employer from Mahwah, NJ gave me his card and told me to call him to set up an interview! So, I have my first ever "real" job interview on Monday at 11:40 AM...wish me luck!
In other news, Steve moved out of the apartment and took our kitty Midna with him...though I haven't really said anything on the subject, Steve and I haven't been dating since February but were still living together. There were some pretty rough moments and I'm sure more to come, but overall I've accepted that shit happens. I'm really too emotionally drained to say much about it.
Yesterday a friend of mine from Vegas flew in for a visit, and the bum is still sleeping. I'm tempted to make really scary faces at him until he wakes up.
Oh, I shot a new set! And it came out awesome, I can't wait for everyone to see it. Unfortunately I didn't get to shoot a double with Leandra because she was sick and I tend to get sick really easily, which totally bums me out because she's so hot and I think we'd take some killer photos. On the bright side it gives me a good excuse to visit Cali, where she just moved back to. So stay tuned for that.
