Thanks to everyone for their condolences on the death of my uncle...I'm going to miss him greatly.
It was weird having my birthday only 3 days after he passed but I've been trying to keep my spirits up. I know he wouldn't want me moping around so I've been doing my best to carry on as he would like me to, though I still think of him often.
So, my birthday was pretty great. I won a free birthday party at this place called the Fiso Lounge and my guests could drink free from 10 - 11...sadly after that the prices of drinks went up astronomically.
I was visited by the lovely Fire and also Leandra who I met at the tattoo convention in Philly last month. It was awesome seeing you both! And they also got me some really cool gifts.Fire got me the Italian Villa DVD and a necklace that has my name on it and Leandra got me a cool pink and black checkered watch. Among my other gifts were penis ice trays, a vagina lollipop, a lesbian goth comic, 40 dollars and...soap. Geez, people must think I'm some kind of pervert!
Lucky for me, Leandra took lots of pics that night and I also got a couple from my friend Mandie to share with you all. So, I can't take credit for these pics really...I stole all of them off Leandra's blog mostly. Sorry, sweetie!

So all in all it was a fun night, and I'm glad so many people could make it. (Said people aren't obvious in any of these photos, I know.)

You looked phenominal so that made me happy. I've been pulling for you after the rough couple months you've had and it was good to see you in upbeat spirits. I was concerned you'd get stuck in a rut, but once you have a great day to remind you the world is mostly a happy place to be in that tends to get you over the hump and get you back to living your life again. Its certainly ominous having your birthday so close to your uncles death, if you use your birthday like I normally do to reflect on what Iv'e accomplished in the past year (which usually isnt much), but what your birthday is supposed to be is a celebration for 1 about the begining of life.... so in that sense it should be a great balance.... of course by the time I've written this your post is a week old and your birthday a few days past that expired so uhhh.... yeah just a little too late to do much good, but happy expired birthday anyways
