I saw the Chronicles of Narnia today...I was a little disappointed, it's not like Harry Potter where everything pretty much matches what I envisioned in the book. I know everyone always says this, but the book was definitely much much better in this case...although the Queen/Witch in the movie was a fucking BAMF...that's a Bad Ass Mother Fucker for all you non Dane Cook listeners out there.
I am more than likely going to New Jersey on New Year's Eve to celebrate with Steve and the gang. After that, I guess I'll go back to Philly and sit around for a week until school starts. Part of me is tempted to just stay here since I know that the handful of friends that still live here will be around (and having a party of their own on the same night), but I don't know...I hate tough decisions. Plus if I went back to see Steve, I'd have to figure out what to do with myself while he's at work since he has to work both new year's eve and new year's day, then I need to find a way back into Philadelphia...it seems like kind of a pain in the ass.
I played pool tonight and saw a bunch of people I graduated with, which kind of caught me off guard. It was kind of awkward because the one kid Nate I didn't really know all that well, and I wasn't sure if I should greet him with a handshake or a hug or whatever, so it was like a half handshake half hug thing. The last two times I've been home I've seen quite a few people I've graduated with. Usually the conversations end with said people saying,"You're not at all like I thought you'd be based on high school". WTF is up with everyone thinking I was like a fucking necromancer in highschool or something?
Actually maybe I'll scan some pics of me from high school...yeah, I think I'll do that right now! So check my pics folder for some goodies. And feel free to laugh and leave me comments telling me how lame I was, haha.
....On second though, these are far too embarassing. I need to think about this a little more.
