i feel like giving up on school and life for a while... just lounging around my house all day eating chocolate covered raisins and gaining lots of weight, so that all the boys will love me. ha.
but no i'm here at school forging my way trying to get decent enough grades so that my mom won't be angry with me, and that i'll eventually graduate. i sort of want to add a minor so that way i'll be better prepared for something when i leave this joint, but i really don't think i really have the motivation to do it.
the oscars last night were disappointing, no good acts, no revealing dresses, nothing. just talking and people booing at michael moore, when i was really happy with his speech. it seems as if this country has forgotten how to think about things, we all just follow what is being done without any disagreance of any kind, i know that many people feel that probably nothing ever gets done.
there was this ad on television last night during the oscars from a group in this area, siting this poem or quote or something about how nothing gets done by the people of this country, the only change comes with soldiers. i cried. i can't believe so many people in this area could feel that way about anything, it just stinks that we're in this country where any ideas are free to be expressed, but no one ever listens, so frustrating. i want to move somewhere where i can just open a quiet cosy little store and sell knick knacks and periwinkles perhaps canada. i just wish it wasn't so cold there.
