I'm looking forward to the weekend. I need some rest! I have been working like hell during the past few weeks, trying to save a couple of projects I "inherited" from colleagues. Managing expectations, managing risks, cleaning up financials, improving stakeholder confidence and commitment, chasing lazy team members, reporting, advicing, convincing and persuading the board, that kind of stuff. Sounds worse than it is, in fact I like my new job a lot but it's an energy sucker..
Which means less time for the other funny things in life. Less workouts, less photography, less playing with Sonar. Now you understand why I'm looking forward to the weekend...
