"Tea can do many things Jane, but it can't bring back the dead"

- Death at a Funeral

How is it that I am always so fucking busy and yet sit here and have absolutely cock all to say? Let's begin with cat related news and see how we get on....

Firstly, I'd like to address any cat owners on my friends list;

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
you're a bunch of cunts

Why did nobody warn me that I was going to be jumped on at all times in the morning by a big ball of fluff?

Three days in, and I was ready to send both Ace and Mini E to the RSPCA after they both insisted on getting up at 4:30am. The situation was then aggravated by the revelation that I am in fact allergic to cats. WIN.

Luckily for him he's far too cute and I'm incredibly smitten so I'll just have to make sure I keep getting my fix of Piriton.

The other thing that I hadn't anticipated was the likelihood of Mini E and Ace ganging up against me to cause total chaos. They're like some kind of fucking tag team. The current favourite is for Ace to jump up and pull the entry phone down from the wall (it's too high for Mini E to reach) so that she can talk into it. She's all about the sharing though, so she's kind enough to hold it up to his ear for him to listen in too.

When visiting my mother last week for a sleepover, the first thing that Mini E did upon arriving was to go to her kitchen cupboards, find two tupperware and then put them in the corner whilst explaining to Granny that they were food and water for the cat.

Guess who she missed more whilst she was away? Ungrateful little madam.

The lady that I adopted him from explained that he was going to be a larger than average male Coonie, and now that I've got his diet all sorted out and he's growing at a better rate I am starting to see what she means. Once he and Mini E are tucked up in my bed I'm essentially fucked for space.

For perspective --> seven month old kitten vs fully grown Bichon Frise

Preparations are currently underway for Mini E's second birthday.

Where the frig has the last year gone?

The difference is nothing short of ludicrously crazy.

Given the current Elmo obsession I have this years 'must have' Christmas toy on pre-order ready for her birthday. Even if you have no kids and think that Elmo is a fluffy red speech retarded giggling shit muncher, you have to admit that toys today are pretty fucking cool...

I sooooo want to have a go at making these cupcakes, but have already decided to go for a two tier Elmo-esque creation, and am trying not to end up with cake overload.

^^^^^ Made by Ruthy's bakery in Chelsea Market NYC.

I somehow managed to fit The Dark Knight into my busy schedule, and boy was it ever worth it. I get to visit the cinema so infrequently these days that going to see any film is a treat, but ohmyfuckingword was that good. I was literally speechless upon leaving the cinema, and it's a rareity for me to not have some sort of criticism.
I can't wait until it comes out on DVD and I can watch it over and over and over and over again until my eyes bleed.

:: In addition ::

♥ UCAS opens next week and I'm still waiting for my reference from my less than literate tutor. Thankfully I'm not applying to Oxford.
♥ I got my certificate in Natural Sciences. The overall score wasn't anything amazing, but I scored 80% and above in the Chemistry & Biology components so it's all good.
♥ Interview went surprisingly well. I should expect to be discharged from bankruptcy after approximately eight months instead of the full twelve.

:: Current 'TO DO' list ::

(a) Contact the following companies to complain about service;
DHL re: illegible driver fuckwit parcel losing toss monkeys, BT re: incorrect charge applying spactards, Estate Agents re: money thieving non call returning fat handed twatters.

(b) Work. Not logging onto the OU homepage and then opening SG in another tab. Not sitting on MSN. Not repeatedly hitting refresh on ebay in an attempt to will somebody to bid big money on item. Not watching films on laptop. Not random googling. Most certainly not facebooking, which I don't even like.

(c)Clear out my friends list. It came to my attention this week that this quite desperately needs doing. If you're on the list and belong in one of the following categories you will be zotted;
* Members I 've never spoken to/don't speak to me - this isn't fucking myspace
* Creepy girl collecting pimp wannabies - we all know the type
* Weird/creepy/repulsive/embelleshing/boring/knobhead members - let's be honest here... I'm hardly a "people person" as it is, so I have even less time for you assholes.
* Old accounts - I'm too impatient to wait for your return, or maybe I just don't care?

To anyone who thinks that they have been mis-treated, or are upset by this decision, please click the spoiler -->

Sheer randomness is cool smile

Hi, the name is in tribute to all the silly people who ask me really dumb questions when i'm working at the zoo, such as "why don't the penguins fly away" or "are rhinos dinosaurs" - these questions are by adults shocked

I decided not to apply for the course because, it would cost me a small fortune, i couldn't really find a safe place to stay and my qualifications and scuba diving experience is limited compared to the rest of the applicants

However if i get the funding i might be going to Sri Lanka to study mangroves next summer

Congrats on getting your certificate and well done for getting 80% smile

Those cupcakes look amazing!!!
