today i went and recorded piano on two songs for my friend theresa kabat. i had about an hour to write and record both tracks, and they turned out really well. i'm excited to hear when it's all done and mastered. i hadn't recorded in a long time, and i haven't written a piano part (i've been playing the same songs with my band for several months now and i've been focusing on learning the guitar since christmas) so it was a nice return to my roots. ha.

i'll keep you updated for when the tracks are finished and i'll post them. theresa is ridiculously talented. she wrote these songs when she was like 16-17 and i hope i can be half as good at guitar as she is.

now i'm in a musical mood. anyone want to get together and jam?
