These last few weeks have been reminiscent of a land long ago when I was living in Lubbock. Cold and lonely and longing for home, so I painted my kitchen the color of Pepto Bismol, floor to ceiling to give it a womb-like feeling. Smoking Cigars and building new scars with every girl I met. So melancholy and masochistic, I fell for everything cute that so much as smiled and said hello...I somehow read that as a request for an undying love, and I offered it up to each one, but I could never really love the ones that took the bait. Instead Ive spent the last eight years in love with one lost soul, so perfect in her own self indulgent, fucked up way. Perfect for a masochistic moron like myself.
