Well looking for modeling jobs and gigs has pretty much sucked. I'm not the typical fashion model (i'm short and petite.) I have answered every possible listing for models, every day...an average of 5 a day. I haven't gotten a lot of responses back...compared to the number I have put out (well fuuuck you too!) Things are starting to look a little up though...
Yesterday I went to an interview about modeling for this new online art/fashion magazine starting up. The photographer was very nice, and open. I saw his work and it was pretty good. He said that he was backed up with models right now...so he'd probably get back to me in 3-4 weeks. I'm still hopeful because he did sit down with me for a while and took head and body shots; rather than just meeting with me for 5 minutes and giving me the "don't call us we'll call you." But 3-4 weeks...I dunno.
Tomorrow I have another interview for a magazine fashion/nude spread. The woman on the phone was very nice and mentioned that her and the other guy there especially liked my photos, which made me happy cause I took them myself
They said they are not looking for the typical models...but rather artistic types...which I think I fit into. Umm I have a tattoo and piercings and messy bangs and I'm real pale 
-So I hope the outcome of tomorrow's interview is good.
Last week...or was it ummm Sunday...yeah...I met with a photographer to model in trade for pics. I worked for 5 hours easily. I had fun and was pretty at ease with him. Got semi nude. I ended up a little disappointed with the results. He was working with low lighting and was using a digi cam that was only automatic. He used a tripod...but also moved around a lot. Most of the pics came out a little out of focus or blurry because of this. Otherwise they would have been really good! He did some old pin-up style stuff...but also did a lot of "FHM style" stuff as he put it. Ugh. I'm not so into that. Anyhow, a few of the photos are in my pics section. Even those I had to sharpen to make them look better. Oh well...it was expierience, which is also what I'm looking to gain.
Got a recent response by a photographer who is looking to get some more fashion pics for his portfolio He sent me a couple pics of his work which were pretty good. Edgy. He wants to work on Sunday. So hopefully that works out as well.
I'm also trying to hook up with this painter who is looking for models to pose for his paintings. He said my look intrigued him and that he wanted to meet up. Hope this works out as well because it sounds fun.
All in all I'm kinda proud of myself because I'm not a self confident and aggressive person by nature. But I'm forcing myself to keep responding to listings and to call the people and go to the interviews. Hopefully I'm rewarded!
In any case this has picked up my mood. So Ive been blasting music, dancing around my apt in my underwear, and cleaning the place. Yeah I actually clean when I'm happy

your sleeping thing = sleeping weirder hours + sleeping for 19 hours + then taking 7 hour naps.
been doing something like that for the last three weeks. i like it, but its bad for me going to work.
you can try the hustler store. or even the husterhollywood online store. if not, i can go get you one, if they are still on sale.
i did a 4 am thing this weekend. woke up at about 11 or so. then i think my brother came in to watch tv and was playing with a game or something, then he left sometime, cuz i was napping.
i had to stop taking naps because it keeps me up at night. even though everytime i lay in my bed, that spot like.. sinks in and everything.. that spot that we all have.
