It's been a while since I had time to sit down and write a blog, so I am sitting down tonight to play catch up! I've been running like crazy with family and editing, as well as getting ends tied up so I could make a quick trip up to the east coast to visit friends before the end of the year. I flew up on Friday, grabbed a few beers in a lovely Philly dive bar while I waited on my ride, then drove the few hours to meet friends at a metal show. It was a lovely night that ended with corned beef hash in a diner, as all nights should.
The weekend was pretty quiet, lots of beer and Joking Hazard and Letterkenny and naps. Today we went to the farm and moved some hay out of the trailer to go on a trail ride. It was kiiiiiind of a shit show, but 2 hours later and both horses and humans were back to the trailer safely, albeit with a few more thorns in my jeans than when we started.
Tomorrow I'm doing a photoshoot for SG that I'm pretty excited about. I went to see my tattoo artist before I left town and he touched up some old finger tattoos for the set. While I was there, we realized that I have been going to him for 13 years now, and I did not have a 13 tattoo yet. Since everything was already set up, he went ahead and did a killer little 13 on my palm for me, pics of both are in the pic updates below!
I am also working on a kickstarter to put together a book of poetry and photography, and will let everyone know when it is live. I decided there is no time like the present to take steps to publish. Enjoy the photo updates!
