For me this film is full of true feelings, every color and every shade in every scene tells us the whole story. The story is sad, beautiful and at the same time obligatory for personal growth.
Separately, I want to say a few words about the director Damien Chazelle. Even after watching the "Whiplash!" I realized that this genius will give us a lot of feelings and genuine happiness, oh, how I waited for his new movie! Musicals - exactly my weakness, the language of motives and movements is clear to each of us from time immemorial. It is necessary to have great courage to shoot so sensual and subtle cinema, to expose to each his wounded soul and finish a movie on such a high note!
I cried during the film and cried a long time after it, memories and soundtracks warm me every time I remember about it. No film has ever evoked such emotions. Such simple and at the same time contradictory.
Subtle work of the true artist, I say bravo!
