Today:
I tried to get out of work but couldn't get the whole shift covered, so my manager came in 3 hours early so I could go and take care of some business.
So... it has been 6 months since I moved out of my last apartment and I still have not gotten back my security deposit. My landlady told me recently that she decided she was going to send me $100. Now, let's just keep in mind that I paid her $975 in security about 3 years ago. I had to go to the legal offices because they only take walk-ins in the morning on Mondays and Wednesdays. I work Mondays and Wednesdays.
Everything should pan out ok and I should get what is owed to me but its just this big drawn out process that is going to take forever. I have to write her a letter and all this bullshit and then wait for her to get back to me and then if she doesn't I have to go back to the legal offices. Blah!
Anyways, it was kinda cool that I was able to get home so early. I was home by 12 (had to wait for the bus for a while though) and normally I am not finished working until 12:45 or 1pm. So now I am just sitting at home, played some Mario Wii and dicking around on the internet until I feel like writing this said letter.

I really don't understand how landlords can be such assholes. Take her to small claims, make sure to demand for her to pay court fees.
