Its been a long coupla weeks but I am just beginning to settle into the new apartment. I am very happy here. There is still shit just strewn about everywhere but I made a couple trips to the grocery store and a trip to IKEA so it should make my life a little bit easier. I am still trying to get used to things and I had a very sudden tragedy two days ago. I noticed one of my kitties wasn't feeling too hot so I took her to the vet and didn't come back with her. I had to have her put down because she got this bad disease that a lot of cats don't make it through. I know from personal experience, as one of my past kitties had to wear a neck cast and a feeding tube to be force fed. That was something I could never imagine putting another kitty through. It was traumatizing. During the day I'm ok but then at night when it's quiet I forget that she isn't around and I get a little teary eyed. It was just so unexpected and only the second night in my new apartment! I saged the place real good when I got home so hopefully things will get better soon.
